Stay at La Mela Rosa

La Mela Rosa began life in the early 1800s as a stone farmhouse. It has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished to provide excellent quality accommodation for up to three couples.

The exceptionally spacious bedrooms and their large, elegant en suites (with, by the way, Australian-sized showers) all have queen-sized beds, antique furniture, and fluffy towels.

All three bedrooms face east so they remain cool in high summer and have panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Delicious breakfasts, including cereals, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. Then your choice of Italian style (jam tart, cake and biscuits); Australian style (bacon & eggs, toast) or European style (cold meats and cheeses).

The layout, space and privacy of La Mela Rosa’s generous accommodation, including comfortable lounge and dining areas, makes it an ideal getaway for up to three couples, or as the location for family reunions.

The Terrace & Garden

Wake up in the morning to the sun streaming through your window. Plan your day to the hollow clunking of sheep bells as the flock trots down the steep track to the River Tenna’s meadows. Meander through acres of woodland – maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of some of the animals, foxes, deer, pine martins, porcupines and wild boar, that live there. Then take time to cool off in the pool, do a few laps, or sunbathe for a while. Take a drive or stroll into Amandola for lunch and some sightseeing. Come back during siesta time to soak in La Mela Rosa’s spectacular views, or just relax, read a book in the garden’s shade areas.
