Your host, Pauline Betts

Hospitality has been my passion since as long as I can remember, annoying my mother from an early age by wanting to cook scones and biscuits for visitors. Italy is my other passion and they come together in La Mela Rosa. I want my guests to feel welcome and at home.

Spellbound by Le Marche’s rural tranquility, Pauline and Rob fell in love with the region at first sight and felt a special affinity with friendly Amandola and the magical Sibillini Mountains. After restoration works, the old stone farmhouse became a comfortable and welcoming ‘home away from home’ where guests could rest, relax and enjoy themselves. In late 2013, Pauline and Rob returned to Australia to live but, after 10 years, the call of Le Marche and La Mela Rosa proved too strong. So, once again, La Mela Rosa has become a comfortable place to relax and feel at home whilst exploring the region.
