This morning I went into Amandola with some guests who wanted to buy cashmere scarves to take home as gifts. With some help from a local, we discovered Maglifici Brasili e Marcozzi, tucked away in the industrial area, where they make excellent garments from 100% certified cashmere. There is a small shop adjacent to the weaving room full of fabulous jumpers, jackets, dresses, cardigans, vests.... in a range of colours. Our guests bought two lovely scarves - a pale lavender and a deep pink - for €15 each.
If you see something you like but not in your size or colour, Brasili e Marcozzi will tailor-make it to your requirements in 10-15 days.
I'm not much of a shopper but I saw at least three or four things that I would like to buy.
